2. Die passende Größe für ein Hardtail Mountainbike oder Jugendfahrrad

Um die Rahmenhöhe eines Mountainbike Hardtails oder eines Jugendfahrrads zu ermitteln, nehmen Sie die oben ermittelte Schritthöhe und multiplizieren Sie diese mit dem Faktor 0,226. Sie erhalten nun den richtigen Wert für Ihre individuelle Rahmenhöhe in Zoll. Die Umrechnung Zoll : cm entspricht 2,54cm = 1 Zoll. Da die Rahmenhöhe nur in bestimmten Größen-Bereichen angegeben wird, gilt die folgende Faustregel:

Die kleinere Rahmenhöhe wird meist bei sehr sportlicher Fahrweise bevorzugt
Die größere Rahmenhöhe wird bei tourenorientierter Fahrweise bevorzugt
